Thanksgiving Food Collection for Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry

November 1-16

St. Mark's along with several other religious communities in our area are doing food drives for the Interfaith Food Pantry for them to put together Thanksgiving Baskets. St. Mark's has committed to filling 50 "baskets". We're not actually filling the baskets but we have committed to stocking those baskets. There are two ways you can help:

  1. Donate food. You are welcome to bring any amount of the following OR pick up a paper bag with a list in the Narthex and fill up that bag and return it to church. These are the specific items they are looking for:
    Canned green beans
    Crispy fried onions
    Cranberry sauce
    Stovetop (boxed) stuffing
    Instant mashed potatoes
    Cream of mushroom soup
    Gravy

  2. Donate money using this link or the envelopes in the Narthex.

They do not want turkeys. They have a supplier who is covering those. Please only bring in the foods on the list. It's important that you bring the food in the next two weeks so we can get it to the Food Pantry after Sunday, November 16 so they can assemble and distribute the baskets that next week. With SNAP benefits cut for November, we will have even more hungry neighbors. Thank you for giving generously!
