Age 3 - Grade 5

  • faith@HOME Kids' program

St. Mark’s is offering a virtual faith formation program for kids age 3 through grade 5. Each weekend, we’ll post a video and PDF lesson that families can do with their children at a time of their choosing. It’s flexible!

The interactive lessons follow the Narrative Lectionary, which is the chronological reading of the Scripture stories we are also using in our weekly worship this year. Each week, a St. Mark’s staff member or volunteer will walk through the lesson with your kids. Each lesson PDF includes a list of supplies and step-by-instructions, and each week follows this format:

    • Introduction
    • Learning the Story
    • Activities (2-3)
    • Prayer

We hope you and your children enjoy this easy-to-use program! If you have questions, please contact Kari Reiseck, Director of Youth and Family Ministries.

Follow this link to get a new lesson and video each week!

  • children's messages

Part of the weekly "Worship Where You Are" service

The children's message is an important part of our worship service, and our pastors are VERY creative in finding different ways to tell children God's story and how much God loves them.

Watch the service online at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings, or at a time that suits you and your family.

  • Fun faith songs For Kids

Music is a vital part of St. Mark's ministry for all ages, and our programs for kids include teaching basic music-making tools so they can creatively express themselves and their faith. Our Director of Worship & the Arts, Kristin Young, has created an online series called "Fun Faith Songs for Kids." It's a great way to keep kids singing and learning learning easy, basic music skills.

You can find all the Fun Faith songs here or on our YouTube playlist.

  • fishers of people

St. Mark's is offering a new group that provides a safe way for parents and children to come together. Called "Fishers of People," the group reflects the story of Jesus calling the first disciples to stop fishing for fish and start fishing for people. The purpose of this group is to provide some good bonding time and learn fishing skills in the process. Bring your poles and tackle boxes. (NOTE: You will also need a fishing license ahead of time.) Extra equipment will be available. Contact Pr. Patrick for more information.

  • vacation Bible School

Every summer, St. Mark's offers an activity-filled week of Vacation Bible School for church and neigborhood kids grades 1 through 5. This year, even during COVID, over 100 children and families participated in a creative virtual VBS titled "God Is Always With Us." The kids enjoyed Bible stories, crafts, music, videos, active play, online research, prayers and community outreach projects. Stay tuned for what next summer will bring!
