St. Mark's has temporarily switched
to online worship

P.R.E.P.A.R.E. to Return

Because of the high rate of COVID in our area, we are continuing to hold our worship services online until the end of January. We invite you to join us from home this Sunday. Please see the WORSHIP page for details.

Livestreaming on YouTube at 10 a.m.

Recorded service available anytime after, on YouTube or on our WORSHIP page

Download our "P.R.E.P.A.R.E to Return" guide for inspiration during these pandemic days. Use the acronym P.R.E.P.A.R.E. to help you stay grounded in your faith and hold onto your hope. We look forward to returning to in-person worship and ministry soon!

When will we return to in-person worship and activities?

St. Mark’s is a community of people who love and care for each other and for our neighbor. To help keep everyone safe during this time of extraordinarily high COVID numbers, we are continuing to offer virtual worship, rather than in-person worship, through the end of January.

This means that:

  • Worship  on Sunday January 23 and 30 will be livestreamed, with the recorded video available at the completion of the serivce.

  • No small group meetings will be held in the building, including FDL/Confirmation/Youth Group.

  • Our Budget Forums and Annual Meeting will be held via ZOOM. (Details and Zoom links are sent in our regular Friday email.)

We believe that the power of community and the presence of God is with us, even over the Internet! We hope you will join us on Sunday, either for livestreaming at 10 a.m. on our YouTube channel, or later in the day for the recorded service.  Visit the WORSHIP page to see all of the recorded services available.

The St. Mark's Return Team will continue to meet weekly to monitor the situation and make decisions on a week-by-week basis about when we can safely return.  We pray for your health and safety. Please take care! If you need to get a COVID test, here is a site of all the Chicagoland walk-in places:

We are in this together!
